Settling into a new school system

## A new curriculum.
A familiar source of support.

Moving from India to Canada, or raising your child here as an NRI family? A familiar subject can come with different course names, assessment styles and classroom expectations.

Share your child’s previous syllabus, current timetable and recent schoolwork. We can use those details to identify topics to revisit and plan tutoring around their Canadian school curriculum.

Grade placement, transferred credits and graduation requirements are decided by the school or school board. Your tutor can support learning while your school confirms those decisions.

Practical answers for Canadian families.

Talk to our team ![](https://nobleeducators.com/canada/redesign/faq.webp)

How do you match our school curriculum?

We start with your province or territory, grade and subject, then discuss what your child is studying at school. A course code, recent assignment or teacher feedback helps us plan relevant support. Ontario course codes such as MHF4U and MCV4U identify a different starting point from an elementary math lesson.

Can we try a lesson before committing?

Yes. The first lesson is a free trial, with no obligation to continue. Share your child’s school details and learning goals so we can discuss a suitable tutor and an available time. Confirm the course rate and session length before booking ongoing lessons.

Which grades and subjects can we ask about?

Enquire about Kindergarten through Grade 12 math, English, science and computer science. Subject availability depends on the child’s level and tutor match. Québec uses elementary and Secondary I–V school levels; contact us about CEGEP or a course not listed in the finder.

How are lessons scheduled across Canadian time zones?

Tell us your province or territory and your preferred days and times. We agree on a lesson time in your family’s local time zone, subject to tutor availability. Confirm the time zone when booking, especially around daylight saving changes.

Can you help families moving from India to Canada?

Yes. NRI and newcomer families can share their child’s previous syllabus, current Canadian schoolwork and the topics they find unfamiliar. We use those details to discuss learning gaps and suitable tutoring. Your school or school board confirms grade placement, credit transfers and graduation requirements.

Are online lessons recorded?

Optional recordings may be available so students can revisit explanations. Ask our team about availability and how recordings are shared. Consent is discussed before recording a lesson.

Where can I see tutoring rates in Canadian dollars?

Use the tutoring rates section on this page to compare the published course rates in CAD, with USD alongside for reference. The chart also lists session bundle discounts. Ask our team to confirm the rate for your child’s course, the session length and any applicable charges before booking.

Is tutoring available in all provinces and territories?

This is an online service, so you can enquire from any Canadian province or territory. Browse the thirteen curriculum guides to find your school pathway. Tutor availability, course coverage and lesson times are confirmed individually; no visit to a tutoring centre is needed.

Can you support AP, IB or provincial assessments?

Share the exact course or assessment, school level and target date. The assessment section links to Ontario EQAO and OSSLT, British Columbia graduation assessments, Alberta diploma exams, AP and IB guides. We will discuss whether a suitable tutor is available for your requested pathway.

What should we bring to the first lesson?

A current assignment, textbook topic, course outline or recent feedback is a helpful starting point. Tell the tutor what feels difficult and what your child wants to understand. A quiet space, a working internet connection and a device for the online lesson help the session run smoothly.
