Start with the course you take

## Find your curriculum. Then your subject.

Start with the grade, subject and assessment body. Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy are different choices; Physical Sciences and Life Sciences are different subjects. A clear course brief helps your tutor teach the work you actually need.

Grades 4–6

### [Intermediate Phase](https://nobleeducators.com/south-africa/intermediate-phase)

Make the move into more detailed subject learning manageable. Use short tasks to strengthen reading for meaning, number fluency and scientific observation, with explanations delivered in English.

Grades 7–9

### [Senior Phase](https://nobleeducators.com/south-africa/senior-phase)

Strengthen the foundations needed before senior subject choices. Lessons can make algebraic notation, longer reading responses and science explanations easier to follow and apply.

Grades 10–12

### [CAPS / NSC](https://nobleeducators.com/south-africa/caps-nsc)

Build a subject-specific route towards matric. Work through concepts, apply them to school questions and review errors before moving into timed NSC preparation.

### [IEB NSC](https://nobleeducators.com/south-africa/ieb)

IEB tutoring should begin with the subject assessment guidance used by your school. Combine a strong grasp of the national curriculum with practice interpreting unfamiliar questions and explaining decisions.

## Your questions, answered.

Can a maths tutor help with both CAPS and IEB work?

The IEB NSC uses the South African national curriculum, but its assessment guidance matters. Share whether your school uses DBE or IEB assessments, plus your grade and subject outline, when requesting a tutor.

Do you offer Grade 12 and matric tutoring?

Explore the NSC subject pages for Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences and English. Bring recent questions or a marked paper to identify priorities; tutor availability and lesson fees are confirmed individually.

Are the lessons in English or Afrikaans?

These pages describe tutoring delivered in English. If your assessment materials are in another language, tell us before booking so the team can confirm whether the proposed tutor and materials are suitable.

How much does one-to-one tutoring cost?

Share the subject, level and preferred frequency. Our team will explain the applicable fees, billing currency, lesson duration and rescheduling terms before you decide. You can start by requesting a free demo.
