More than a lesson

## A clearer explanation. A more confident next step.

Your questions shape the lesson. Your learning continues afterwards.

### Space to ask. Time to understand.

Work through a difficult idea with a teacher who can adapt the explanation to your questions.

### Practice with a purpose

Connect your ap physics 2 lessons with focused practice and review the steps behind each answer.

### Access lesson recordings

Revisit an explanation between sessions and bring your follow-up questions to the next lesson.

### Your student dashboard

Keep your lessons and available learning resources together in one place.

Agree a schedule that fits your school week and time zone.

## What students learn

01

### The 2027 AP Physics 2 exam

From the May 2027 exam, Section I has 42 multiple-choice questions in 85 minutes, worth 50%, and Section II has 4 free-response questions in 95 minutes, worth 50%: mathematical routines, translation between representations, experimental design and analysis, and qualitative–quantitative translation. Students answer in Bluebook and handwrite the free-response answers in a paper booklet. Calculators are allowed.

02

### The seven units

Thermodynamics; Electric Force, Field, and Potential; Electric Circuits; Magnetism and Electromagnetism; Geometric Optics; Waves, Sound, and Physical Optics; and Modern Physics (units 9 to 15, following on from AP Physics 1).

How It Works

## Getting started is simple.

01

### Tell us the standard

Share the grade, subject, and what your school is covering this term. Two minutes, no card.

02

### Meet your match

Meet a tutor in a free demo and discuss your learning goals and preferred lesson times.

03

### Build your learning routine

Weekly sessions, recorded lessons, and a progress report you can take to parent conferences.

## Questions about this course

Does my child need AP Physics 1 first?

AP Physics 2 builds on the mechanics and energy of AP Physics 1, which is why its units are numbered 9 to 15. Check your school's prerequisite; we tutor both courses.

How is AP Physics 2 different from AP Physics C: E&M?

AP Physics 2 is algebra-based and covers thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, optics, waves and modern physics. AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism is calculus-based and goes deeper into electricity and magnetism only. We tutor both.

When should my child start AP Physics 2 tutoring?

Ideally after the first unit test, or at least 8–10 weeks before the exam for timed practice.
