01What we can work on together
Explain algorithms, trace their steps and test a program against normal and boundary cases. Connect computing theory with practical examples. Describe the input and expected output before coding. Trace a short example by hand, locate a failing case and explain why a change fixes it.
02Match practice to your course
Check whether the course is Cambridge IGCSE or another board’s international GCSE. Subject options, tiers, permitted calculators and assessment components can differ. Always use the material for your actual examination session.
03Make the lesson fit your school work in Malaysia
For international-school or pre-university tuition in Malaysia, include the board and examination session. If you are changing school systems, compare the actual topic lists first; a different course name does not automatically mean you need to repeat every topic. Bring an attempted question so your tutor can see how you reason, then agree what to practise next.
