A SCHOOL PATHWAY THAT MAKES SENSE FOR YOU
Four nations. Different pathways. One personal approach.
There is no single curriculum for every UK school. Start with where you study, then explore your years, subjects and qualifications.
England
National Curriculum in England
Reception · Years 1–13
From early reading and number confidence to GCSE revision and sixth-form study. Lessons begin with the topics your school teaches, then build the understanding needed for the next stage.
Subjects to discuss
Maths · English · Science · Biology · Chemistry · Physics · Computer Science · History · Geography · Economics · Business · Psychology · French · Spanish
EYFS covers early years; the National Curriculum covers Key Stages 1–4. Sixth-form qualifications are a separate next step. Academies and independent schools may follow a different programme. Tell us the school, exam board and specification.
Build literacy, numeracy and subject confidence through Broad General Education, then focus on National qualifications, Highers and Advanced Highers in the senior phase.
Subjects to discuss
Maths · English · Sciences · Biology · Chemistry · Physics · Computing Science · History · Geography · Business Management · Modern Studies · French · Spanish
Curriculum levels describe progress rather than fixed attainment deadlines. Qualifications Scotland replaced SQA in February 2026; older resources may still carry the SQA name. We confirm the course and tutor match before arranging lessons.
Connect subject practice with the school’s learning programme and the Curriculum for Wales. For older students, plan GCSE and sixth-form revision around the exact qualification being taught.
Subjects to discuss
Maths and Numeracy · English · Science and Technology · Biology · Chemistry · Physics · Computer Science · History · Geography · Business · Economics
The curriculum spans ages 3–16 and six Areas of Learning and Experience. Progression steps are reference points, not rigid year-group targets. GCSE reform is phased by subject and cohort; confirm the specification and exam year. Ask about language-of-instruction availability.
Support for primary foundations, the move to post-primary school, GCSE study and sixth form. Match each lesson to the student’s year group, course and assessment route.
Subjects to discuss
Maths · English · Science · Biology · Chemistry · Physics · Digital Technology · History · Geography · Business Studies · French · Spanish
Northern Ireland’s year numbering differs from England: GCSEs are normally studied in Years 11–12, followed by Years 13–14 in sixth form. SEAG is a selective-school entrance assessment, not a requirement for every pupil.
The qualification matters more than the country label. Bring your syllabus code and level.
International pathway
Cambridge International
Primary · Lower Secondary · IGCSE · AS & A Level
For students following Cambridge programmes in the UK or internationally. Bring your syllabus code so lessons and practice match the right subject, tier and examination series.
Subjects to discuss
Mathematics · English · Science · Biology · Chemistry · Physics · Computer Science · Economics · Business · History · Geography
Cambridge stages and school year labels are not interchangeable. Support is subject-specific; schools decide which programmes and assessments to offer. Early Years is a separate play-based programme; discuss readiness before requesting tutoring.
iPrimary · iLowerSecondary · International GCSE · IAL
A separate international route from UK GCSE and A-level qualifications. We use the course title and qualification code to keep topic coverage and practice relevant.
Subjects to discuss
Mathematics · English Language · English Literature · Science · Biology · Chemistry · Physics · Computer Science · Business · Economics · History · Geography
International GCSE and International A Level structures vary by qualification. Confirm whether the course is linear or modular and which units or papers the school has entered.
Support for inquiry, subject understanding and independent study. In the Diploma Programme, match lessons to the subject and Standard or Higher Level, including Maths AA and AI.
Subjects to discuss
Mathematics AA / AI · English Language and Literature · Biology · Chemistry · Physics · Computer Science · Economics · Business Management · Psychology · History · Geography
PYP is for ages 3–12, MYP for 11–16 and DP for 16–19. School grade labels vary. The Career-related Programme is a separate route: ask about support for its individual DP subjects. Guidance develops the student’s own work and follows academic integrity requirements.
Subjects listed are enquiry options, not a promise that every tutor teaches every course. We confirm the subject, level, teaching language and tutor availability before booking. Noble Educators provides independent tutoring and is not an exam board or an authorised school of these organisations.

For BTEC, T Levels, the EPQ or university admissions tests such as UCAT, LNAT, TMUA and ESAT, tell us the qualification, subject and test year. These require a separate availability check; they are not included automatically in GCSE or A-level tutoring.
THE RIGHT SPECIFICATION FROM THE START
Your exam board matters.
A subject title alone isn’t enough. Share the board, specification code, tier and exam year so we can match practice to your course.
These are links to independent awarding organisations, not endorsements. Wales is introducing reformed GCSEs by subject and cohort; Scotland’s qualifications body is now Qualifications Scotland. Confirm the current course with your school.

How does online tutoring with Noble Educators work?
Tell us the student’s school pathway, year, subject and goals. We discuss a tutor match and arrange a free introductory demo. Lessons then focus on explaining concepts, guided practice and reviewing work, with a schedule agreed around school and tutor availability.
Which UK curricula and year groups can I ask about?
Explore England’s school pathway from Reception to Year 13, Scotland’s P1–P7 and S1–S6, Wales from early years to sixth form, and Northern Ireland’s Years 1–14. We also take enquiries for Cambridge, Pearson international qualifications and IB subjects. The year guide includes the full school sequence; subject, age and specialist tutor availability are confirmed before booking.
Can I find a GCSE Maths tutor for my exam board and tier?
Yes—include your board, specification code, year group and Foundation or Higher tier where applicable. A GCSE Maths tutor can help with number, algebra, ratio, geometry, probability and statistics, then use practice questions to identify what needs attention. We confirm a tutor who can support the exact course.
Do you offer GCSE English and Science tutoring?
You can request GCSE English Language, English Literature, Combined Science or separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics support. Bring your English set texts or Science specification and tier. Lessons can combine concept review, written answers, data interpretation and timed practice.
Can I request an A-level tutor online?
Yes. Ask about Maths, Further Maths, English, sciences, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Psychology or a humanities subject. Tell us your AS/A-level or international qualification, exam board and topic priorities. The team confirms subject expertise and availability before agreeing a plan.
Are UK SATs the same as the US SAT?
No. In England, Year 6 SATs assess primary English and Maths. The US Digital SAT is a university-admissions test with Math and Reading & Writing sections. Choose Year 6 SATs for primary support, or visit our separate SAT tutoring page for Digital SAT preparation.
Can you help with 11+, SEAG or independent-school entrance preparation?
Share the target school and assessment first. 11+ content varies by school or area and may include Maths, English, verbal and non-verbal reasoning. SEAG assesses English or Gaeilge and Mathematics for relevant Northern Ireland school entry. Independent schools may use ISEB tests, Common Entrance or their own papers. Specialist and language availability must be confirmed.
How much does UK online tutoring cost?
Request a quote for your subject, year group and preferred lesson frequency. Before booking paid lessons, confirm the session length, billing currency, any package terms and cancellation policy. The introductory demo request is free and does not ask for payment details.
Can Indian tutors teach students following UK school courses?
Noble Educators is based in India and supports families learning internationally, including NRI families in the UK. The tutor match should depend on subject knowledge, familiarity with the actual specification and communication style. Share your curriculum and language preferences so we can discuss a suitable match in a demo.
Can lessons fit UK evenings, weekends and the GMT/BST change?
Tell us your preferred days and UK local times. We agree availability with the tutor and confirm timings when the clocks change between GMT and BST. Lessons are online; a city name in an enquiry helps with scheduling and school context, rather than indicating a local teaching centre.
Will tutoring guarantee a particular grade?
No. Progress depends on the starting point, attendance, practice and assessment. A useful plan sets realistic priorities, reviews understanding and adapts the next lessons. Ask questions in the demo and agree expectations before continuing.
