01What we can work on together
Connect particle-level explanations with observable changes. Use chemical equations, amounts and units to make quantitative reasoning clear. Identify the species involved, balance the equation and label each quantity. Explain the chemical relationship before substituting numbers into a calculation.
02Match practice to your course
Cambridge International AS & A Level and other awarding bodies’ A levels have different specifications. Share the board, subject code, components and exam session. An AS-only course should not be treated as an entire A level.
03Make the lesson fit your school work in Malaysia
For international-school or pre-university tuition in Malaysia, include the board and examination session. If you are changing school systems, compare the actual topic lists first; a different course name does not automatically mean you need to repeat every topic. Bring an attempted question so your tutor can see how you reason, then agree what to practise next.
