Know what comes next
Students in grades 3 to 8 take Milestones EOG tests in English language arts and math. The ELA tests have been rebuilt for Georgia's new ELA standards. The tests are taken online, with paper forms for students whose disability prevents online testing. Results use four achievement levels: Beginning, Developing, Proficient and Distinguished Learner.
High school EOCs cover Algebra: Concepts & Connections, Literature & Composition II, Biology and U.S. History. Literature & Composition II replaced American Literature from the 2025–26 school year. The EOC counts toward the final course grade: at least 10% from 2023–24 under State Board rule 160-4-2-.13 (it was 20% before).
